Christ Mission wants to help women, single mothers, widows, and young girls who are living in poverty or difficult circumstances by providing practical skills, training, equipment, and opportunities to build a better future.

Many women in vulnerable communities have limited education and few opportunities to earn an income. Young girls may also have very limited access to education, skills training, and opportunities that can help them become confident and independent.

Our vision is to help women and girls develop practical skills, confidence, education, and opportunities to earn an income with dignity.

We want to provide young girls with opportunities to learn useful skills such as:

• Sewing and tailoring

• Embroidery and handicrafts

• Computer and digital skills

• English and communication

• Beautician and personal-care skills

• Basic business and financial skills

• Leadership and confidence-building

Our goal is to help girls develop skills that can benefit them in their education, future employment, or small business opportunities.

_{FOR SINGLE MOTHERS & WIDOWS}

Many single mothers and widows carry the responsibility of caring for their children with very limited opportunities.

We want to help them learn a practical skill and, where appropriate, provide the equipment or starting capital they need to begin earning an income.

Support could include:

🧵 Tailoring & Sewing
Training, sewing equipment, materials, and basic business support so a woman can begin working from home and taking orders.

💇 Beauty & Personal Care
Training and equipment to help a woman establish a small home-based beauty service.

🍲 Home-Based Food Business
Support for women who have the skills and opportunity to start a small food, baking, snacks, or catering business.

🛍️ Small Business Start-Up
For women who already have a suitable business idea, Christ Mission can provide equipment, initial stock, and other necessary start-up support.

🧶 Handicrafts & Embroidery
Training and materials to produce items that can be sold locally.

This support could provide a woman with:

• Quality sewing machine

• Sewing table/stand and chair

• Cutting and measuring tools

• Thread and other supplies

• Initial fabric/materials

• Training where needed

• Basic start-up support

The goal is to help her establish a small home-based tailoring business and begin earning an income to support her family.

This can help cover training, learning materials, equipment access, transportation, and other costs associated with learning a practical skill.

Possible training includes:

• Sewing

• Computer skills

• Basic business skills

Our goal is to give young girls skills they can carry into their future.

_{🏪 HELP A WOMAN START A SMALL BUSINESS}

US$800–1,200

For women who need more than skills training, Christ Mission wants to help establish a small income-generating business.

Depending on the woman's skills and circumstances, support could include:

• Business equipment

• Initial stock

• Shop setup

• Rental support where necessary

• Basic business materials

• Training and guidance

Possible businesses could include:

• General store

• Tailoring shop

• Beauty salon

• Food business

• Fruit and vegetable business

• Handicrafts

• Other suitable small businesses

The purpose is not simply to provide financial assistance, but to help create a sustainable source of income for a woman and her family.
